The songstress took to her Instagram page to announce news of her engagement to the clergyman on Thursday afternoon, June 23.
Mercy Chinwo shared photos with her husband-to-be and captioned them,
“I am blessed to be blessed with @theofficialblessed 
The thoughts of doing the next phase and the rest phase of my life with you makes the blessing more real
I love you Sweet”
However, shortly after the announcement, an old video of the clergyman hailing Mercy’s unique talents, resiliency, and hard work during a sermon surfaced, with many suggesting that this was the genesis of their love story.
In the video, Pastor Blessed also stated that Mercy Chinwo is like a sister to him.
