Watch – Kari Lake trashes CNN in the face of the reporter

Republican Arizona gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake threw CNN in the face of one of its reporters when asked for an interview.

During a campaign stop this week, CNN reporter Kyung Lah approached Kari Lake and asked if she had a minute to chat, prompting a rather sarcastic exchange.

“You no longer have a mask. What’s going on?” Lake asked Lah sarcastically.

“We’re out,” Lah replied. “Do you have a minute to chat?”

Lake took the opportunity to remind CNN how badly he fell.

“I’m going to do an interview,” Lake said. “As long as it’s on CNN+. Does it still exist? I didn’t think so, because people don’t like what you’re selling, which is propaganda.

Lake has moved on.

Former President Trump endorsed Kari Lake for governor last September, hailing her as a “fantastic person” who will fight for the MAGA movement. The former president also pointed to Lake’s prior media experience as proof that she will not back down from propagandists of fake news.

“Kari Lake is running for governor in the great state of Arizona,” Trump said. “She is a fantastic person who has spent many years working as a highly respected television presenter and journalist. For this reason, few people can take on fake media like Kari.”

Lake quit her job as Fox 10 news anchor in Phoenix in March of last year, citing the news media’s leftward shift in reporting.

“Journalism has changed a lot since I walked into a newsroom and, to be honest, I don’t like the direction it’s headed,” Lake said at the time.

“The media needs more balanced coverage and a wider range of viewpoints represented in every newsroom at every level and in every position. For the past few years, I haven’t felt proud to be a member of the media. I’m sure there are other journalists who feel the same,” she added.
